Product Description
Polymaker PolyMide CoPA is a technical polyamide filament based on a nylon copolymer. It is suitable for load-bearing functional parts, mechanical components, prototypes, and applications where toughness, strength, and temperature resistance are required.
The material is hygroscopic and should be stored dry. For reliable printing results, a suitable filament dryer or dry box is particularly important. Polymaker strongly recommends a filament dryer for this material.
According to Polymaker, PolyMide CoPA does not require an actively heated build chamber but does require an all-metal hotend that reaches at least 250 °C. Heat treatment of the finished part can improve material properties; subsequently, moisture conditioning may be beneficial for nylon materials.
