Product description

Polymaker PETG is a versatile PETG filament for FDM/FFF 3D printers. It is suitable for stable everyday prints, functional components, prototypes, housings, mounts, and applications where a good combination of toughness, dimensional accuracy, and ease of processing is required.

PETG combines higher toughness than many standard PLA filaments with easier processing than many ABS materials. This makes it a sensible choice for robust indoor printed parts and for many functional applications.

The material can be processed on most common FDM printers. An enclosed build chamber is generally not required for PETG. For consistent results, print temperature, part cooling, and print speed should be adjusted to the printer, nozzle, part geometry, and color.

Polymaker notes that PETG is hygroscopic. Therefore, the filament should be stored dry and, if moisture is absorbed, dried in a suitable filament dryer or drying device before printing to reduce stringing and surface defects.
