Product Description
Polymaker PC-ABS is a technical filament based on a PC-ABS blend. It combines the properties of polycarbonate and ABS and is suitable for functional components, housings, brackets, technical prototypes, and applications where toughness, heat resistance, and dimensional stability are required.
The material is aimed at experienced users and requires suitable printing conditions. Polymaker recommends an enclosed printer or an actively heated print chamber for PC-ABS so that the component can cool down slowly and controllably.
For reliable results, the filament should be stored dry and, if it absorbs moisture, dried in a suitable filament dryer or drying device before printing. After printing, heat treatment of the finished component may be useful if the material properties are to be specifically improved.
