Product Description

Polymaker Panchroma CoPE is a copolyester-based filament and is not one of the classic PLA materials. It is suitable for fast FDM/FFF prints, smooth surfaces, prototypes, and components where good overhangs and a clean print image are important.

According to Polymaker, CoPE adheres very strongly to some print surfaces. A suitable release agent or adhesion promoter may be useful for easier removal of components. Especially with structured PEI plates, adhesion should be carefully checked beforehand.

The material does not adhere well to standard PLA. Therefore, it should not be combined with PLA-based Panchroma materials in a multi-material print without testing. However, this property can be interesting for breakaway support applications with PLA.

The filament should be stored dry and protected from moisture. If moisture is absorbed, drying in a suitable filament dryer or drying device can improve print quality.
