Product Description
Polymaker Fiberon PET-CF17 is a carbon fiber reinforced PET filament for technical FDM/FFF 3D printing applications. Due to the carbon fiber content, the material is particularly suitable for rigid, dimensionally stable, and durable components, prototypes, fixtures, and functional printed parts.
The material is intended for users seeking a technical filament with high rigidity, good dimensional stability, and increased temperature resistance. For higher heat deflection temperature of the finished part, Polymaker recommends a suitable heat treatment after printing.
Due to the carbon fiber reinforcement, the filament is abrasive. Therefore, a hardened nozzle is recommended for printing. Print temperature, speed, and cooling should be adjusted to the printer, nozzle, part geometry, and desired mechanical properties.
The filament should be stored dry. If the material has absorbed moisture, Polymaker recommends drying it before printing in a suitable drying device or filament dryer.
