Product Description
Polymaker Fiberon ASA-CF08 is a carbon fiber reinforced ASA filament for functional 3D printed parts with good stiffness, dimensional stability and a matte surface. The material is particularly interesting for technical components used outdoors or under UV exposure.
Thanks to the ASA base material, ASA-CF08 is suitable for applications where weather and UV resistance are required. The carbon fiber reinforcement provides higher stiffness and a technical matte finish.
For reliable printing results, the filament should be stored dry and, if moisture is absorbed, dried in a suitable filament dryer or drying device before printing. Due to the carbon fiber filling, a hardened nozzle is recommended.
As is common with ASA, good ventilation should be ensured during printing. A closed build chamber can contribute to more consistent results for larger components.
